As the daughter of watercolor artist, I'm always reaching out to my dad Papa G. for painting tips and dad joke approval. (Of course.) For this year's Christmas collection, Pop realllly wanted me to paint "Chipmunks Roasting on an Open Fire" for one of my 2018 Christmas crests, but I couldn't get the past the vision of chipmunks being served up on a spit! In true Papa G. fashion, he painted these chipmunks just to prove to me it could be adorably cute. We both decided the chipmunks deserved their time on the spotlight as a late addition to this year's Christmas collection, and thus these furry five sparked a new design. The chipmunks are Pop's artwork, and I added the brush lettering for this father-daughter collaboration that perfectly represents what it's like being in a family of nuts.
