Holiday Shipping Updates + Order Deadlines

Merry Christmas, y'all! Here's everything you need to know for the 2023 holiday season.

Mug Production Time

Mugs require a bit of extra care and time since each one is custom made to order for you! Because of the longer production time, the order deadline for mugs is December 10. Any orders placed after this date are not guaranteed for Christmas delivery. Please allow 7-8 business days during the holiday season for mugs to be created and shipped. Some mugs are shipped separately from other items. If you have an order that includes mugs and other products, you'll receive two separate shipments and tracking numbers.

Paper Goods Production Time

All of the other goodies are made in-house, so production time is much quicker. You can expect your order to ship in 1-4 business days, depending on order volume. (Looking at you, Black Friday!) The order deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery is December 12, however we'll be shipping orders all the way until December 22. (Although we might need Santa for Christmas delivery on December 22 orders. I'll give him a ring.)

Shipping Time

The shipping method selected at checkout dictates the method that your order will be shipped, and also the speed of shipment (during normal times of year). Please note this is separate from our production time, which is the time to create and pack up your order. You can select from USPS First Class, USPS Priority or USPS Priority Express. Typically First Class takes 3-5 business days, Priority takes 2-3, and Priority Express takes 1-2, depending on where you are in country. (And of course, we have international options too!) With the extremely high volume of packages this year, the USPS is not guaranteeing any of the usual delivery estimates, and shipments are being delayed. Of course, I wish I could hand-deliver each and every item to you, but once it leaves my studio, it is in the hands of the good folks at the USPS, and I have no control over shipping time, nor can I guarantee the arrival time of any package this year.

FAQ

Why the heck is shipping so slow?
The increase in customers shopping online has created a backlog of packages. Add the usual craziness of the holiday season on top of that, and welp, here we are!  And also, the Grinch. He's involved somehow, I JUST KNOW IT.

Why is my package still in pre-transit?
During the holidays, some items are not being scanned in, even if there are in route. Rest assured, your item was shipped out on the day you received tracking information. Turning on text/email updates should "shake things loose" and get a scan.

What can I do to speed things along?
Start prayin', friends. Just kidding. (But seriously) The best little shipping tip I can give is to turn on your text/email updates on usps.com. I've noticed that packages magically start moving again once they realize someone is watching!!

My package says delivered, but it's not here!
If your package shows as delivered but you don’t have it, check with your neighbors/front desk/mailman to see if it may have been accidentally delivered to the wrong address or scanned incorrectly. And then give it a few days because it still might show up! Contact your local post office for additional help in geotracing the package :)

This won't arrive by Christmas, and now everything is ruined.
If you don’t receive an item by Christmas, NOBODY PANIC! Simply wrap up a printed image of the gift OR our very handy gift note created for you, and tell your recipient their holiday magic gets extended because more presents are still on the way! SO VERY EXCITING!! #silverlining
